Wat formula is gentle on the belly and doesn't cause constipation?
DS has been on Earth's Best Organic for the past 4 days & it's been horrible for him. It's been making him constipated & I need to find a different formula.

I had DS on enfamil gentlease and never had an issue with constipation. Keep in mind, when you switch formulas you have to give it for a weeks or so before their bodies adjust.

We are using Gentlease as well. DS is having problems pooping so he is drinking diluted prune juice every day as well.

We use gentlease and luckily DS has been going to the bathroom more frequently since switching because he had constipation issues too.

I agree with Gentlease..although he is still sensitive so we are going on Alimentum

We were using gentlease but DS had issue pooping we are now using Similac Alimentum.

us too - alsw we use baby maxi dophilous as a probiotic ot keep them regualr- the probiotics is a godsent for my boys - we get it at whole foods- it needs to be refriggerated

We used to use gentlease, but it still caused constipation in DD. The doctor switched her to nutramigen bc it may have been due to a milk allergy. She's been fine ever since.

Thank ladies. His ped told us to try Enfamil Gentlese & see if the switch helps.

Never heard of baby maxi dophilous before?
I'll look into it & see if my DS can take it since he's just a week old.

My DS was very constipated his first 4 weeks while on Similac Advanced...my doc. recc. Enfamil Gentlease, he said it is one that softens stool...it's actually half reg. and half nutramagin... and it did wonders...however, DS started to reject it. We are now on Gerber GoodStarts and he seems very comfortable. I think it all depends on what works for each baby..lots of trial and error. Good luck!
