One weight off our shoulders
We just receive a phone call that our Certificate of Eligability (for VA loan) has come in!!!!
We have been dealing with Gerard @ Continental and he just called!!!
Now, we just need to find a house! We've seen 7 in the past 3 1/2 weeks!
The one we put an offer in on, we lost b/c another couple put an offer in 12 hrs before us and the owners "did the right thing" and took their offer

Great news! what area are you looking in? I think I read an earlier post that said Riverhead? If so we just made an offer on a home in Riverhead that was accepted...let me know what your looking at, i'll let you know if we saw it or not!! (we must have looked at 25-30 homes)

Good luck!! We looked at over a hundred houses before finding ours. The more you look the more you will wiegh out what you really need and really don't need.
We also put a couple offers in. We are happy it took as long as it did since this is our first house and it's a learning process.
