I love Kismet because it's quiet and mostly residential, but we usually have a place when we go. There's not much to the town though. Beautiful beach (obviously)
ETA: yes, it's on FI...from the Bay Shore ferry

My cousin used to have a house on Kismet (and yes it is one of the Fire Islands). There's a restaurant and a small grocery store and beach but you can walk to the neiboring towns also. I always loved spending the day there. Have fun if you go

I've been renting on Fire Island since 1997. I don't stay in Kismet but I visit and I love it there.
