nanny's birthday
Do you get your nanny anything for her birthday? If so, what? I just remembered my nanny's birthday is today. She is great but has only been with us for 3 months. Any ideas?

I bought her a coach wristlet (she mentioned in passing she liked mine) and put a $50 gift card to her favorite store.

I gave mine a $100 Visa card, earings from DD, and treated her to lunch with one of her nanny friends and the little girl she cares for. Also picked up her favorite cupcakes...she has become part of our family and I wanted her to feel appreciated and loved!

First year she was only with us a few weeks so we got her some cookies/brownies etc. This year $100 gift card.

I've given mine a digital quick shot type of camera, an iPod, a Kindle & this year we gave her cash because I couldn't think of anything. In the past I've made mental notes when I've overheard her talking about things she'd love to have.
