Idol

Hollie- I like her so much don't know why the judges don't. I thought she did great.

Joshua- don't normally like him but he did awesome tonight

Phillip- hes so good but getting boring. It's the same every week

Colton- he did amazing

Jessica- I did not like her at all

Taylor- not a huge fan but wow she was amazing. She def was the best

Elise- I just don't like her. She did ok. And what was she wearing.

when you say taylor do you mean skylar? I did not watch last nights episode yet, but I have no idea who taylor is.

OK- I just watched it. Here are my thoughts:

Skylar: I did not like her song choice, but it did showcase her voice. It was very solid.

Colton: I loved his song choice. I still feel like he could do better, he is never fully polished, but I really enjoyed it.

Elise and Phillip: A great duet. They rocked it!

Jessica: She is very popular and has a strong technical voice, but I don't like her. I love how Akon said she needs to eat a few more hamburgers, LOL!!! She'll obviously have a career, despite how far she will or won't make it in this competition- so I would not mind if she went home sooner rather than later.

Joshua: He was good, it was a better song choice for him this week. But, his genre of music is just not for me and I can't see listening to a full album of Joshua songs.

Skylar and Colton: I love this song and thought they did an OK rendition of it. They were both off in parts. But Skylar looked so pretty in that red dress.

Hollie: I've been really disappointed in Hollie this whole competition. In the beginning I wanted to root for her, and I feel like she failed at every single song so far. I expected her to go home last week. I am so happy she picked this song this week!!!! She did a great job!!!!

Phillip: I just love his voice and his musical stylings, so I could listen to anything he sings for hours on end. It wasn't his best, but I enjoyed it.

Joshua and Hollie and Jessica: Jessica sounded terrible. Joshua was holding that song together!!! He did a great job but the girls were all over the place. I thought it was an overall mess though.

Elise: I wish she stuck with playing the drums, I thought that would have been a cool touch. Great song choice for her and loved the performance. ETA: I agree with the PP though... what was she wearing? So unflattering.

It will be interesting to see who is in the bottom 3 this week.

I think Jessica can sing her asss off but I'm over her. I don't like her stage prescence - something about her irks me.

I think Hollie is better then the judges give her credit for - I would listen to her album. She has some lungs on her.

Colton did good but again I see him more as a producer/song writer. He can arrange the helll out of a song. I'm just not a huge fan of his voice, it doesn't stand out enough for me.

Skylar has completely made me change my original opinion of her. I would TOTALLY buy her country album. She has been doing great IMO the last couple of weeks.

Joshua is another one who has also changed my mind. Although, I can't find myself listening to an entire album of his - I could picture a few of his songs on my IPod list. He did good last night - I LOVE that Bruno Mars song.

Phil - I love him. I love his looks, I love his style, the sound of his voice. Last night was definately not my favorite performance of his in this competition though.

Elise - she can sing but I thought she sounded terrible last night. I felt like she was screaming through the Lady Gaga song and couldn't understand what the judges were hearing. She isn't likable though, so she will be gone either tonight or next week.

I'm a HUGE fan of Philip...though I agree this was probably my least favorite song by him (loved the duet though!)

Jessica is amazing...she will be a STAR...but I'm not sure it will be through AI. She doesn't NEED the show anymore...Akon was ready to sign her right then...

Colton - my daughter will be upset if I say anything bad! She loves him! I mean claps at the TV, completely zones into the show all goo-goo eyed watching him...........She's FOUR! LOL

Joshua - Love him, I think he's got a great career ahead of him with or without AI.

Elise - She can sing, there's no question about that. But something about her bugs me. And as previous posters mentioned that had to be the most unflattering dress EVER...I imagine Tommy Hilfiger sobbing backstage somewhere...

Skylar - She's just fun. She has a great voice, such passion and I like her a lot!

Hollie - She seems sweet and cute and she can sing....but, IMO, she isn't as stand out as some of the others. I think she's in trouble and IF she makes it, she's got to pull out all the stops next week and find a way to connect more with the song....

I think bottom three will be Elise, Hollie and Skylar...I think Hollie is going home...

I love Elise and Philip! I loved their duet and their individual performances.
I think Jessica is incredible! I kept thinking about who she reminds me of and I *think* it's Alicia Keys. That soulful voice...
To me, Jessica is the Pia of this season. She will be more successful not winning American Idol. She's a sure star!

Why was everyone so shocked with the bottom three? Elise is always in the bottom- people haven't ever liked her!! And I thought it was one of Jessica's and Joshua's worst performances. I personally think it is Hollie's time to go... but it wasn't a total shock for those other three to be in the bottom this week. And why are they so shocked about Jessica? This has happened to Pia, and Jennifer Hudson, and Chris Daughtry and so many countless others... always around this similar timeframe. Jessica has also become unlikeable (i feel). I knew they would save her, but I don't think that will get her the win. It seemed a bit extreme how they wouldn't even let her sing. Her first few notes didn't even sound that great (but probably cause she was nervous and upset) but still.... I didn't see the big shock.

My faves are Hollie and Philip.

I wasnt surprised at the bottom three at all. Jessica has a good voice but something about her bores and annoys me. Elise is always in the bottom three. I think there's just something about her that's unlikeable and she fails to really connect with her audience. And Joshua is always just too choir-y for me.

Colton has a way of just making a song so unique...but his voice doesnt do it for me. Skylar I was getting bored of, but last night she did really well!

I always thought it would come down to Philip and Jessica in the end.. Now i am not so sure..

Philip was my favorite but last week he got so cocky .. I didnt like it.. Not humble at all.. But I love everything about his singing and style.. And he is adorable..

I love Coltons voice but his hair is just ridiculous ..

Jessica is a star .. another Whitney Houston ..

Elise has a great sound

hate Skylar but hate country music.

Hollie is much better than the judges are saying ?? I dont know whats up with that...

Josh is great but needs to go home..Dont love him.

Personally, I think they stopped her from singing because she sounded like shit and they knew they were saving her and they allllll would've looked stupid saving her after a pitchy song.

I think she's cocky and unlikeable.

Philip is just like DM imo, every song is sounding the same, just like DM

I think Elyse is awesome but clearly she's not "hot" enough to get the votes. People are superficial smh

Hollie has a good voice but NO personality and is boring to watch sing

I do not enjoy Josh. At all.

Skylar is cute and will be a great country singer regardless of this show

I love Colton's voice but his hair is so ridiculous and distracting. He needs to tame that beast LOL

I was not shocked to see Jessica in the bottom 3. She will have a career without the AI crown. Bottom line she isn't likable - she's like Pia Toscano except she made it through the competition longer. I don't think she will make it to the end.

I'm really not sure who will be in the finals though...I think Phil and Colton or Skylar...

Love Phil...but he is just like DM.

Josh/Jessica/Hollie all fall in the same category for me...they sound good, but don't want to see them win.

Elise is awesome, but I think she comes off as being a LOT older than she really is...maybe that's why she doesn't appeal to AI's audience.

I've been slacking this year with my rundown. So many things going on...but I am still watching and of course am VERY opinionated about how I feel. LOL

Skylar..I couldnt stand her in the beginning. But now she has grown on me, she does have a GREAT voice but I dont think she will win.

Joshua...usually I dont like him at all but his last performance was his best I think.

Jessica...she's OK. I dont see the hype about her and wasnt that surprised she was the one who was supposed to go. Something about her that I just dont care for.

Hollie...I like her better than the judges do too. Her voice is great and shes the sweetest little thing..problem with her is the fact that she has NO STAGE PRESENCE. She looks so awkward up there.

Elise...LOVE LOVE LOVE her voice but cannot stand HER! She definitely will not win.

Colton...LOVE him. Wouldnt mind seeing him win Idol. Hes great..born to perform. Im usually happy with him

Phillip...this is who I WANT TO WIN IDOL. I LOVE everything about him. EVERYTHING! Hes absolutely adorable..so different...has a great sound and he LOVES what he does. I hope he wins!
