So all of my NYE plans have completely fallen through
We were supposed to go to a party on NY day and now its cancelled because the hosts are sick. Bummer.

This is the first year I don't have a plan at least a month in advance - makes me feel old lol
We were invited to a few things but most were just

Thanks, it makes me feel not so alone to know that. I feel like we could go to first night here - which would be fun for the kids. I just need to convince DH that it would be fun. He would rather be in bed.

I very rarely celebrate NYE. If anything I go to a family party. The past two years I was asleep by midnight.
Honestly, IMO its sometimes safer to just stay in. Enjoy some quiet time. There's another 364 nights to party! (Well...possibly less if the world really does end next Dec)

the past few years DH and I have stayed home....no plans for this year either....I am not a fan of traveling on a day that so many others drive drunk....putting my life at risk.

We usually have a few people over. I hate the whole hype and it's so unsafe! I like it best when I'm in bed t 10:30
This year it will just be DS, DD and me. DH and DS#1 will spend it at the hospital. Should be interesting what they do for it.
