Not ovulating confirmed.

After a year of "trying" I finally went to an RE even thought my GYN had done all the blood work for hormone levels, ultrasound, etc and never found anything wrong. Well...although the OPK showed a smiley this month, blood tests have confirmed what I thought...I am not ovulating even though the opk said I had a surge. My cycles are irregular and am on day 39. RE gave me provera to bring on AF. THen going to do more blood work on day 3 and checking to see that there is not tube blockage. What can I expect as a result of this??Anyone with experience with this I would appreciate the info.

depends on what teh cause of no ovulation is. I had that as well. They finally tested my prolactin multiple times and found i had a prolactinoma.. they also though my tubes were blocked. I never went in for teh hysterosalpingogram.. tried acupuncutre instead and was on meds for prolactinoma..

i have PCOS and never ovulate... i also just found out my right tube is blocked.. going to an RE is def the right move

i have pcos and do not ovulate on my own so i take meds to make me..i def have gotten false positives on a opk bc of the pcos..u should def get tested for that..u have the symptoms

checking for the tube blocking is a hsg and not done through blood but a dye test usually done elsewhere

Thank you ladies...I am glad I went to an RE. The RE told me I have to make an appointment for the hsg on day 7-10 of my cycle so I'm just waiting right not. I hope we can figure out a plan soon.
