xmas gift for nanny
So our nanny is starting the week before Christmas and then she's off for a week because I'm off (teacher schedule).
What is an appropriate gift for her? She will only be working 1 week!

Normally, I would say a week's pay but in this case maybe a days pay? I am not sure...

I would say maybe some nice hand lotion, or a pretty scarf. She is so new so I'm not sure I would do money. Maybe a gift card to someplace you think she likes.

Maybe Im wrong...but I say nothing. She hasnt even worked for you for more then a week...Im sure she dosent expect anything either.

If you don't really know her that long and she will only have worked one week I would say nothing.
If you want to be extra nice maybe a box of chocolates or something along those lines.

take her to lunch or something simple to just make a note of the holiday.. she will only be there a WEEK!
