Linksys is a subsidiary of Cisco, which is the biggest networking company in the world. I've used Linksys routers for years with no problems.

I highly recommend a Linksys (Cisco)... you can get a nice decent one for around $40.00-$50.00.
Love it though, fast and reliable.
