Breast feeding question
I have been breastfeeding for 3 months and using one bottle of breast milk during the day. I got what I thought was my period in Aug and have not had another one. Has anyone else experienced this?

It's totally normal for your period to either not come at all until you stop BFing or, to come irregularly. I would say it sounds fine, you may get it again, you may not.

Yes, that happened to me. I had some spotting around 8 months PP, which I thought was the return of my period. Then I didn't have anything again until 11 months PP. It was a little wacky for a bit then- I got it again 3 weeks later, again 3 weeks after that, then again 2 weeks after that. Then I got pregnant lol. It really is different for everyone, and it can definitely take a while for it to get back to a normal regular routine.

Could it have been the six week bleed? My OB told me not to be alarmed if I bled at 6w PP, it's very common. On the other hand, if it was AF, it was wacky for me when I eventually got it back. I had a semi AF at 7.5m PP and then at 9m PP, I got a full flow AF.

I never heard of this. Or even that some get their period and then it stops or become irregular.

Sounds like it could be normal. Your body needs to adjust itself and get back into a cycle. But I'd probably take a pregnancy test just in case, you never know!

I'm only 8 weeks PP, but the six week bleed happened to me.
