Went in today at 5w3d for a sono.well turns out i have an ectopic pregnancy (its stuck in my left tube) i have to go in tomorrow for an injection to terminate the pregnancy and might lose my left tube.

i'm devasted and broken and can't stop crying...

How do you girls get through this?

It takes time... that is the only thing that helps, unfortunately.

I'm so sorry! As pp mentioned, giving yourself time is one of the best things. I also found it extremely helpful to only surround myself with people who were really understanding, as being around negative vibes or people who you are not close to peppering you with annoying questions just made me feel worse.

I'm so sorry! You'll get through it, it's true time heals all wounds. It's been about 7 months or so and it's better than it was but I was a mess for the first month. Just let yourself grieve

I am so sorry! Take the time that you need for your body to heal. Time will ease the pain too, I know you don't think so now but it will. Many many hugs! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

i agree.
the only thing that helps has been talking to people who can truly relate to what i did/am going through.

So sorry you're going through this...I had an ectopic as well but I miscarried very early on. There was no sign of pregnancy in my uterus and a small void in my left tube what looked like an empty gestational sack...I was very lucky and I passed the tissue on my own.

Its so hard to deal with this and you have to pick yourself up and move up but allow yourself to mourn as well. Cry if you need to and let out your emotions. This board is incredibly supportive as we all went through what you're going through at one point and we know the feeling exactly. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I didn't have an ectopic so I don't know how that feels but I do know that time will heal your wounds. You'll never forget being pregnant but you will eventually be able to move on. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
