Some help and recommendations for First and Middle names please...2 Parts...
PLEASE DON'T QUOTE ME:
PART 1:
DH and I have our top 3 names we both picked out, we're not going to decide until we see  though. I've been very adamant about keeping the names to ourselves just for the reason I'm posting. DH spilled the beans to his parents and sister which made me pretty mad because I didn't want to hear anyone's opinions on any of the names because it's our child. The names are Alessandra, Valentina and Adrianna. Now the first thing that comes out of my SIL's mouth about Adrianna was if we ever have a  his name will be Rocco (after DH) and then I'll have Rocco and Adrianna (Rocky & Adrienne). I didn't even think about it but she made it a huge deal that I shouldn't even think about doing that blah blah blah. This was exactly why I didn't want to tell anyone. Do you think it's traumatic if we even considered that as a name?
PART 2:
I can't figure out a middle name for any of the names we picked. DH said I can pick whatever I wanted for the middle name so he's no help lol. ***My number 1 thing is I don't to use any popular names! If it helps our last name is Calise.

1. I honestly wouldn't make that connection between the two names.
2. I think the middle name you chose is very pretty. But if you're looking for suggestions, another different middle name I've heard is Mirelle, which I think is pretty.

First of all, beautiful beautiful names! My niece is Valentina! 
Don't listen to what people have to say...do what makes you happy. I personally think there is nothing wrong with Rocco and Adrianna. I love both names!
As for middle names, I like:
-Rose
-Sophia
-Maria

Oh wow, I've only met 1 Valentina in my life! I love all those but I think Sophia and Maria are really popular, Maria especially for a Middle name! It's one of my middle names as well!

Just a few names that I like that I think will flow nicely with the names you've chosen: Melania, Luciana, Alessia (but not I you choose Alessandra), Melina, Milena, Fabiana. Hth!

all 3 are beautiful names and I would never have made that connection honestly so i dont think it would be a big issue for you....out of the three names I love Alessandra

Oh wow Giselle sounds nice with all 3 names! Francesca was actually one of our top 5 names but when we narrowed it down to 3 it got voted off. I still love it!

Definetly would never make that silly connection lol. I love all 3 of your choices. As for a middle name I think 1 syllable names will sound better b/c all 3 names are veery long. My friends daughter is Valentina Rae and I just love it so that would be my choice. You also have to think about nicknames. Allessandra might be called allie and I think that takes away from the beauty of the name. And Valentina may be Val so you have to see what one you are ok with

Beilive it or not Rae (well Raffaela) is my middle name so I wouldn't use that, but of course I love it! I don't mind Allie as a nickname but Alessandra is a form of Alexandra so I would go with one of those nicknames. Oh and HATE the nickname Val...not a huge fan of Tina either so I'd have to get creative with that one!

i think rose or elizabeth would go well as middle names for all 3...
and i like valentina best out of your choices just bc you never hear that. i like different
and i never in 1,000 years would have made that connection between the 2 names.

Your SIL is nuts. I make NO connection. The name Adrianna is NOT Adrienne for one and kids that age will NOT know the movie!!!!!! Adrianna is a beautiful name.

I love the name valentina. So gorgeous. I think Giselle or Adrienne would sound so pretty w Valentina. (I know Adrianna is one of your choices, but if you don't go for it you can always change it a bit to fit w the name you do choose.)
As for the rocky connection, I might make the connection only bc I am a huge Rocky fan. It's one of my favorite films.

I would never have thought of that connection between the names. Plus, I think picking names is very personal, just as you said. Not to be a b*tch, but I'd completely ignore your SIL.
As for middle names, did you want something italian like the first and last name? Rose goes well with all of those, but it's become a very popular middle name and you said you didn't want popular. I've been hooked on the name Violet lately, which I think would sound nice with the A names. Other names like would work with your name but aren't super common middle names...

Thank you for all the replies. All the comments about the "Adrianna" name is helping me feel better about wanting to still keep it on our short list!
Still as far as middle names I never thought it would be harder to choose than her first name lol. I actually  the way Elizabeth sounds with the names and my Aunt is Elizabeth so that woulda been nice but DH's grandma is Elizabeth and I would prefer not to name DD after her, I would honor my grandma in that way before her...but DH doesn't like her name, Carmela (I love it).
