Luncheon Platter

When attending a party/luncheon, and sandwiches are served, do you prefer a tray of premade sandwiches, or a tray of cold cuts/cheese to make your own?

My MIL and I are having a debate over this.

LOL! Ditto
only b/c pple take too long with making their sandwiches too. Slows down the process and I gotta eat. Grab a sandwich and move on. Chat Icon

Re: Luncheon Platter

for me i would prefer to make my own. I am super picky and most of the time I won't eat the pre-made stuff bc I don't like what's on it.

Unless, there's a grilled veggie wrap or sandwich, I'd like to make my own. Chat Icon

Premade. I don't like everyone picking at everything, it kind of grosses me out. With pre-made sandwiches people just touch what they want and it's less work, people are standing there for less time.

Re: Luncheon Platter

I prefer premade ones but make sure theres enough of each kind. I went to a shower and by the time I got up there all of the good ones were gone and what was left was mess on a platter.

I wouldn't mind premade as long as there was a variety and enough of each (as another person mentioned).

Also, I do not like mayo or mustard on my sandwiches so as long as the condiments were available on the side for others to put on themselves, premade would be better for me.
