How many to transfer back
We went for our retrival yesterday and they were able to retrieve 7 follies. Today I get the call that 6 out of the 7 fertilized and that they will call me tomorrow after the embryoligist look at them to let me know when we will transfer, which will be either sunday Day 3 or tues Day 5.
I'm starting to get nervous because we orginally said we were just going to put 1 back. But now im thinking we should put 2 back. I'm curious to see what everyone did and what the result was.
My age is 30.

I think the recommendation depends on your age. DH and I are planning on putting back 2.

I am 31 and we are unexplained IF. We always knew we were going to put 2 back. We also knew the risk of twins and were ok with that (I actually really wanted twins).
Anyway, I am now 11w pregnant with  . You need to just be prepared if you put 2 back they could both take. If you are not ok with having 2 babies at once, then I would only put one back. GL!

All 4 times I had 2 put back. I am now 14 weeks with . Back a few months ago I might have talked my DW into trying to push the Dr. for 3. I'm now very glad I never had that conversation and that my Dr. was very strict about it.

First IVF - 2 back BFN
Second IVF - 2 back ectopic/m/c
Third IVF - 3 back after PGS - 
Fourth IVF - 3 back after PGS - BFN
Fifth IVF - 3 back - BFN

First IVF-- put 1 back on Day2 (the only 1 that was still developing) --> BFN
Second IVF-- put 3 back on Day2 --> expecting in November

I put back 3 on day 3.
2 took, but 1 split, so I had (identicals and a singleton)
However.......... I lost all of them around 8wks.

I put back 2 but neither stuck. I am doing a FET on Monday and will be transferring 2 again.
For the fresh cycle we went by doctors recommendation. For the fet we only have two frozen and we are just going to transfer both.
