Dr. Recommendations?
Hi ladies! So, this is my 2nd post here. Everyone was SO great with my first post and made me feel like there is hope! I am just on the very brink of the beginning stages (planning, researching, etc.) and would like to know...where do I begin?
I should probably make an appt with my gyno and ask but i'm here and you ladies are all so helpful.
Do I see a fertility doctor first? Any recommendations or if you can point me in the right direction, that would be so helpful.
Just background, if you don't remember, DH has a vasectomy and reversal is not an option.

I would start with an inital appt with your GYN if you are due for an appt. Then ask them for recommendations (there might be soemone specific due to your DH vasec) And search on here...there are tons of reviews on Drs and plenty of good ones. I think it is important to find someone who has expierience with your condidtions

Thanks, Allison. I am not due for another appt until next year so I felt silly making an appointment just to get a recommendation on a doctor. I was just hoping to see if anyone may have had a good experience with a great doctor for DH. If I don't get any leads, I will definitely make an appointment. Thank u again.

I see Dr. Brenner at LIIVF and so far have been very happy. They have a doctor there that specializes in male infertility and TESE. Good luck!

you can always call your doc instead of making an appt just to ask who they like working with kwim?

I am fairly certain they can get the sperm somehow and thank you very much for the recommendations above! I do realize that I can call my Dr. but I haven't been with them long and honestly, I always feel better when I know that other people have had a positive experience, KWIM? That just means a lot to me. Again, THANK YOU!
