FYI for anyone registering for B is for Bear stroller by Graco

For some reason, the stroller is being discontinued at BRU. I do not know why, and the person at BRU didn't seem to have a reason, just said that sometimes that happens.

If a store has the stroller, you can buy it there but they won't be getting any more in. It's the reason why the price dropped from $119.99 to $99.99, and you can't choose 'store pickup, just online order when looking online, since it is now on clearance.

Oddly enough the Snugride 30 matching car seat as well as the contempo high chair do not seem to be going anywhere...just the stroller. Just wanted people to know this if they registered for the car side & stroller like we did. (Luckily someone purchased the stroller for us already according to the registry.)

That is so werid!!! We registered for the B is for Bear highchair. I dont understand why they couldnt give you a reason for the stroller being discontinued

Yeah - who knows. When my sister asked - she was saying to the salesperson "well should I tell my sister to take it off her registry and register for something else? Is it a safety reason?" The girl said "It just happens sometimes that they decide to discontinue an item, and it could be that we just aren't going to sell it, they are stopping making it, or they might be making another version of it..."

If it was a recall they would have to tell you something. Did you opt for the recall notification on your baby registry? We get recall updates when anything we registered for is recalled. They could just stop making that particular design b/c it didnt sell well or they already updated it. I wouldnt worry about it.
