J and R steakhouse. They have a few locations. I have been to parties at the one near the smithaven mall. Not sure if that's considered the stony brook location or not.

A little further away: Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue has great party rooms too. We have hosted parties there and been gusts at parties there. But they may have certain time restrictions for Sunday parties, if I remember right.

la tavola in sayville, heard the brunch is good! n the italin food is great if u do a luncheon.

shandon court just got voted#1 continental restaurant, heard the brunch is awesome-my sisters shower is there but we didn't have it yet,

Grey horse tavern in bayport has brunch never been there for it but the hamburgers and other things r outstanding.

I also always had good food at blackbirds in saayville

I had my bridal shower at danfords and they did a great job. Plus they have separate buildings for them so it is very private.

We just got back from a christening at Blue in Blue Point. The food was great and so was the service. We had Aiden's at West Lake in Patchogue and they did a really nice job. Sonoma Grill does a nice job too!

DS's was at Sonoma Grill, Holbrook

DD's was at the Garden Grill, St. James

Great things to say about both places.

This is where we had DD baptism. Food was delicious and service amazing. Only issue is depending on the size of your party, it can get a little cramped.

We had DD's at Irish Times in Holbrook.

Sonoma Grill was our second choice.

Re: restaurants for christening in Suffolk

We had our DS's christening party at Smithtown Landing Country Club. It was wonderful! Food and service were great, three different sized rooms to choose from, pretty and scenic location, AND very reasonable price wise. Speak to Rich, he's the catering manager. He was so flexible and offered us great deals on add ons (liquor) and low minimum guarantee. I called A LOT of places and none of them could beat what they offered.

Good luck and congratulations! Feel free to FM me.
