Friday will be 20 weeks for me. Staying team Chat Icon much to DHs disappointment. Our level II is June 27th. Cannot wait to see the baby again.

We went to Babies r Us just to look around and it was quite scary. I used to be a manager at Baby Depot and I never knew how terrifying it was for those mamas. The other day I was relying on some young man (boy really) for his advice. Chat Icon

Trying to decide on whether to get a travel system with the car seat and stroller or just start out with a seperate car seat with a Snap n go. I know I'll use a stroller come x-mas shopping, but will I want a new stroller once the baby is out of the car seat.

Any insight/opinions?

I always wanted travel system until hubby fell in love with city mini. I liked it but was unsure. What really pushed me over edge and decide couldn't do travel system was when hubby had me lift stroller to pretend was lifting in car and couldn't!!

We checked out a Chicco that was really light. I liked how it folded too.

Just checked out the citi mini online and was really impressed by that too. Ugh. Decisions, decisions. Chat Icon

strollers have been the hardest decisions for some reaon. between stle, patterns, weight, etc. so after much debate im pretty sure we are decided on getting a peg perego....either the pliko or pliko switch. im still on the fence. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Wow, we're moving along here, girls!

I'm not feeling many flutters and I hate that. If I weren't going for sonos every week I'd be dying!

Feeling great, off bed rest and back to work. Going tomorrow to make sure the cervix still looks good!

O'Donnell -- I would agree with your doc. If they are saying to pay more attention to the tests than the sono, then do that (as easy as it is for me to say). They could have measured wrong on that sono. Baby could have been positioned funny. Just stay positive!

LightUpOurLife -- as a BTDT mama, I loved my snap and go. When baby is sleeping in the car seat and you need to get out of the car, its nice to just have the frame and stick the car seat right in there. Easy to handle and maneuver, only draw back is very little storage under it. But I got a Maclaren stroller that DS could sleep in as a newborn (it went all the way back) but rarely used it, it was snap and go all the time!

Lauren... I will def do the infant seat route! Just trying to figure out if I want the snap n go, or a whole travel system with a stoller underneath. I've heard stories where the travel system gets wrecked by the time the baby is out of the car seat so the momma had to buy a new stroller anyway. KWIM?

Since we're not due in the summer, how much use are we going to get out of the stroller in the beginning? I guess it will come down to $$$.

I agree! How many times do we here that the baby is measuring 8 or 9 lbs and comes out 6 or 7. It gets squishy in there and hard to measure! Thinking positive thoughts for you!!!!!

From what I have read Kathy, that is totally normal. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon The flutters I am feeling are not very strong and are very inconsistent. Nothing solid at all. They only happen after dinner when I retire to my computer for a bit.

I am almost 18 weeks and have not felt any flutters either. I am not even sure if I would be able to tell if I was actually feeling flutters or would mistake it for something else. Hopefully it happens for us soon Chat Icon

My doctor told me flutters between 18-22 weeks is completely normal. 22 weeks especially if you haven't been pregnant before, so sit tight! Soon enough you'll feel those bladder kicks and start yelling at your belly! Chat Icon

I felt something like that of a flutter at 19 weeks (or I think it was).. but then I didn;t feel anything I was well into my 20 week, and since then nothing. So I'm hoping by 22 or 23 weeks, I will feel something consistent.

We went for our level two last thursday and the baby looks great!!! We have decided that we are staying team Chat Icon !

I have been feeling flutters for the last few weeks but now, I'm 21 weeks today, I have started to feel kicks. This morning me an my DH were laying in bed and I could feel them when I put my hand on my stomach!! Of course it only happened once so DH didn't get a chance to feel, but I'm sure that they will get stronger soon!

This is my second so I might be feeling things a little sooner.

went to buy buy baby last night and got totally over whelmed.... we will probably get the snap and go stroller, but have not really started looking yet. We want to order the baby's furniture first since that takes 12-14 weeks to have it delivered. we will start looking for that hopefully w/in the next few weekends.

I can not believe how fast time is flying! i feel like just yesterday i announced i was pregnant... and where did this belly come from?!Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: **Official November 2011 Mommies Thread***

Started registering yesterday. I was so worried that it was going to be difficult! We went to Buy Buy Baby and I have to tell you the staff was so helpful and informative. They didn't hesitate to tell us what was good and what was a waste of money.

I had no idea but they have a free 'service' that you can arrange for a personal shopper to walk the entire store and show you everything that is necessary. I go back today!

I think I finally convinced DH that Team Green is good for us. He is so worried about shopping for clothes and stuff. Walking around I was able to open his eyes to the fact that the baby won't need much for first few months and besides... Chanukah and Christmas are the next month!!!! When I brought up that little bit he finally gave up the push to find out tonight at our Level II. Can't wait to see our baby!!!!

Similar thing happened to me. I had my Level II last Wednesday. Chat Icon didn't feel like cooperating I guess because they were only able to get 1/2 the necessary measurements. I go back this Wednesday. Hopefully she'll feel like cooperating. DH already started calling her a diva. Chat Icon
