How long did you follow the 3 day rule?
Did you do this for every single food there was or just for a little while at first?

It was only the first few foods, then I only did a 24-48hour rule with known allergen foods like fish, etc.

I always followed the rule - until they were eating table foods regularly.
My dd (now 2) had a milk allergy - so we had to be extra careful!

I also followed it until she was on mostly table foods. allergies run in the family though so I wanted to be extra careful.

we never did. our pediatrician said it wasn't necessary (but she is very laid back and we have no family history of allergies on either side)
