My verizon upgrade is next month as well. Right now I have a BB curve and I like it.
I have been hearing so many things that now I have to decide if I want to stick with BB, go with Iphone or go with droid.

I am a Verizon customer and currently have a BlackBerry. As soon as I am eligible for the discounted upgrade in Sept. 2011, I am getting the iPhone. I cannot wait!

I think people coming from AT&T going to Verizon will be very disappointed that they can't use data and voice simultaneously. Nothing has changed about the network.

I waited for over a year for the Iphone to come out, literally 2 weeks before the announcement I bought the new droid. I was  I plan to give this phone to DH and get the iphone on Day 1, but im NOT happy about it!

No, I have a BB Bold through Verizon already and love the BBM feature. Once I'm eligible for the upgrade (early 2012),
I may upgrade to the iPhone 5 if its available but only if I see the benefits outweigh the cons. I heard the iPhone through Verizon will still have kinks that need to be ironed out (its not going to run over a 4G network and its not possible for the phone to transmit data while the phone is in the middle of a call).

Most carriers have a 30 day return policy on new purchases. They should reset your upgrade eligibility too.

Wish I could say the same about my AT&T service! I drop calls ALL THE TIME!  I will be in line for the Verizon iPhone as soon as it comes out!
I get dropped calls and poor service with AT&T also, but since I just got the iphone 4 a few months ago, I am going to wait until my contract runs out. Besides, I want to see how things go with the first group of verizon users.

Maybe. I like the Droid phones better I think. I have an upgrade but I'm in no rush. I will wait and see when the iPhone actually comes out.

Not sure. I got a I pod touch in October and think that an IPhone might be redundant (sp?) I just got DH a droid pro and I might get that, but I can't decide.

 . Thanks for posting, I cant believe Verizon found another way to make customers pay more $$...Ugh.
Anyone remember the GOOD OLD days of cell phone plans? I remember paying $30/month for 800 minutes/month and FREE unlimited Text messaging with AT&T in 2003. I had a bulky Nokia phone that needed a new battery probably once very 6 months... I miss those days!

I hate the Iphone.
I can not stand a touch screen phone and keyboard.
I'd end up throwing it out the window after trying to type my first email.
