we had tried all the other brands last time, but luvs was always the best for us. never gave DS a rash..never leaked.

Again just like the formula we are using what was used in the hospital from day one which was Pampers Swaddlers. So far they work great. She has had some nasty diarrhea and it never leaked through.

And at not even a month old she is already wearing size 1 (she is around 8lbs now) so dont stock up or register for too many newborn size diapers

K, we used pampers swaddlers when Jack was a newborn. Once he was in size three (around 4-5 months) we started using Pampers Cruisers.

I've tried Luvs and didnt like them, though some people rave about them.

I just recently started using Huggies over nights and am not too sure about them. So far, to me, nothing compares to Pampers

We started off using Pampers swaddlers, but after a couple of months we decided to try to BJ's brand because they were so much cheaper.

They were great so we switched and saved tons of money.

ETA: once DS started sleeping through the night we had to use Huggies Overnights. Every other diaper we tried leaked if it was left on all night.

is it just me or is it very frustrating that there are so many options out there? it makes it so difficult to try to make the right decision...

i use huggies with DS... DS leaked out of pampers a few times

i gave luvs a whirl, but i dont think they cooperated with DS b/c he always had diaper rash when i put them on him -- other than that, luvs was good i thought

i have also heard BJ brand diapers are good too

Since I'm already collecting pampers gifts to grow, I figured I would stay with them.

I registered for pampers, once those are done I am just going to target brand since I probably won't be able to afford anything else lol.

Obviously this all depends on what agrees with LO

I am going to use whatever I have!! My sister and mom had everyone bring diapers to my shower. We have TONS and TONS of diapers in all different sizes and brands!

pamper swaddlers as long as it's not the dry max, I know way too many people whos kids have had a reaction to them and since DD has VERY sensitive skin I don't want to risk it with #2.

After swaddlers I'll try either huggies or luvs.

So many of my friends who are BTDT moms swear by thet Target brand diapers (Up & Up)..I think we're going to end up trying those first.

I have used huggies, pampers and luvs. I got so many different brands at my shower. They all worked fine for us. I just decided to use luvs bc they are cheaper and IMO very similar to pampers.

We're going to try cloth diapers. I'm going to start off with the prefolds and diaper covers and then if I like it invest in the more expensive all in ones.

Pampers swaddlers, we used them with DS and they worked great, never had any problems

We'll have to wait and see what works for the baby. DS used pampers swaddlers then Cruisers, but when they switched to Dry Max we started having problems with him leaking. So we switched to BJs brand - waaaaay cheaper and they never leaked!

This time I think I'll try the BJs first and see if they work

We started wtih Pampers. Hated Huggies, they worked fine but I felt they always looked bulky.

Then we switched to LUVs which are made by pampers but alot less money.

Last time we didnt switch until DS was well over a year...this time we will switch very early on! No need to spend the extra money for something they poop in!
