Coming up for a visit, what to wear?
I am so out of the loop, we are coming up to NY for a visit Oct 8-11, and I have no idea what to pack.
Are skinny jeans tucked into uggs still "in"? Is it weather appropriate yet?

I would say so .. at least it was last season!
As for if it's weather appropriate.. honestly I think October is really hit or miss with the weather.. it could be chilly or warm depending on the day/week ..
Toward the end of October that should be fine though 
ETA: I just saw you said around the 8th .. umm personally I think Uggs might still be too warm for then .. but like I said, with October you really never know.

I break out my Uggs as early as I can personally so I say yay. Another option are slouchy boots or booties/shooties.
