Why can't people RSVP
there are still about 13 or so people that haven't responded--10 of those are from my side of the family.
I'm just really sad because I have no family here (aunts, cousins) everyone is in Italy and obviously won't be coming to my shower.
These people who haven't responded have know me since I was little and I have always considered them to be like my family since they were really all I had growing up
sorry i just needed to vent. thanks for reading.

I'm sorry!! I feel like this always happens for events, there are always those same people who lack consideration to RSVP!!!
Ughh!! They either like to wait till the last possible moment or just will forget.

Im sorry!!
I anticipate this happening to me too just like it did for my bridal shower  Some people just have no consideration. I was invited one time to a baby shower in CA and she knew there was no way I could go but I still made sure I RSVPed on time. It would bother me if I didnt but I guess some people dont care!

ugh! i HATE it when people don't rsvp!! it's so friggin rude.
but it does happen with pretty much every event... try not to stress

I'm not upset because people didn't rsvp, I'm more upset because I have no real family coming to the shower, it's all DH's family. Besides my mom and sister.
I can't explain it right i guess, i feel like if it were my real family they would have been excited and rsvp'd. does that make any sense?

i'm in the same boat as you!! there are a bunch of people who havent RSVP'd and my shower is 2 weeks away!
plus there are like 3 people from DH's family coming 
i'm actually getting nervous that i put TOO much stuff on my registry... with 2 weeks to go, most of my "big" items are still there
