1st b-day entertainment
I am having my DD's 1st b-day next month at our house. It is small with about 35 or so people coming - 9 kids 1-5 y/o and 4 kids 6-10 y/o. I want to have small world entertainment come with a puppet show (saw them before and loved them). Do you think this is overkill for a backyard party with not that many kids? (although I will say that when I saw them they were at a library. The parents seemed to be having as good of time as the kids).

No I don't, I think it's a great idea. If you're planning on having them setup outside plan an inside space too in case of rain. From my experience the kids over age of 6 werent that interested.
