i usually look the number up on whitepages.com first and if i can not figure it out still, i usually *67 them and hang up as soon as i hear their voice.

I look up their number on-line, and if they keep calling with no message, I save their number in my "blocked numbers" on my phone (I LOVE that feature on my phones...  ), and voila, no more calls from them....

I did have someone call yesterday and leave a message (returning someones call) and I did call the lady back to tell her she dialed the wrong #.

It depends on my mood. If the person left a message and it's the wrong number, I'll may call them back to let them know.
If there are repeated calls/hangups, I'll call back to find out what's up.
A random call here or there, I don't bother with them.

if its anything other number i will probably search the number on the internet to see if it comes up with anything... then i'll decide if i call back or not...

Nope. I assume it's a wrong number which they realize when they hear my outgoing message.
Same here. Unless they continue to call even after hearing the outgoing message...then I will call them back...and nine times out of ten, they were calling us as a wrong number.
