Recommend your RE.
Hey girls. So I am thinking that I am going to make an appointment with a RE at the end of the summer. We have been trying since January (with a M/C in April), but my cycles are shorter (24-26 days), so even though come August, I would have only been trying for 8 months, its 10 cycles.
So I am looking for any RE recommendations. I am a NYC Department of Education teacher, so I have GHI insurance (I know many of you work for the DOE). I live in the wantagh/levittown area, but I am willing to commute a little further east and definitely further west (since I work in the Bronx).
Thank you in Advance. This whole TTC process has been really getting me down, and I just feel like there many be something wrong...so its time to be proactive!!!

I see Dr. Braverman in Woodbury not sure about the insurance. I have empire which he takes.

I HIGHLY recommend The Center for Human Reproduction at NSUH/Manhasset. I used Dr. Herschlag as my RE but anyone in the practice is terrific.
They accept GHI

im 99% sure he accepts your insurance because i know another NYC teacher that sees him and hasnt had a problem.

Thank you ladies so much. On Monday I am going to begin calling around and seeing about insurance and who has appointments available.

I will definitely update you. I am going to call on Monday, and I suspect it will probably take a month or two to get an appointment. (hopefully not longer).
Good luck! I also have some spotting issues. I read your post earlier. I do not spot 5 days before AF, but it just went from 2 to now 3 days before AF. I am wondering if this is any type of issue.
