72 but then our upstairs is 76 so we turn it down when we plan to go upstairs.

77 in summer...when we got the house our inspector told us 78 or lower to keep out mold...my parents are set at 78...
when it's 90 or above everyday and the heat index is above 100 everyday (as it's been for the last few weeks - FL is HOT!) coming into a house that is 77 feels really cool...when we watch TV i need a blanket 
we also have ceiling fans going throughout the day and one above our bed

We have in-wall ACs. The one downstairs is on energy saver and we have it set at 65. Our bedroom is on 65, but we only put it on when we're sleeping.

We set it anywhere from 68-72 find it very comfortable. But if you have a problem with teh upstairs being warmer because you dont have two zone AC then i suggest adding vents upstairs.

Oh and to answer the post.......mine varies.....but for the most part, we set it for 71.
LOL and it's funny cause I am ALWAYS cold except when I sleep, but we don't have CAC, it's in the wall

We have central AC and it's always at 70.
Same here. Sometimes lower to 68 at night.
Just wanted to add...these results will be a tad skewed, I think...because CAC is a little more "efficient" than wall AC's, and cool better even at a higher temp.
When we had wall AC's, I'd set them at 60 and still have several hot spots in the house.

just had the central put in the place we are currently renting.. when I'm not home it's up to 74 and when we are home 73 and at night DH sneaks it to 72... i am convinced, however, that the thermostat is wrong.

Our CAC is set at a constant 72. DH and I were just discussing last night that we might lower it to 71.
