OMG... the things people say when they aren't thinking!!!
So DD has been sick since yesterday.  She had a fever on and off all day yesterday and today she's been better.
However, this afternoon, she got very fussy and started refusing her bottles from my mom. I called the doctor to explain what's been going on and the nurse thinks she may be coming down with coxsackie.
So my mom and I were talking about the coxsackie virus and my mom goes,
"It shouldn't be called 'coxsackie', it should be called 'coxsuckie'!!!"
She then realized how that sounded and as we were both laughing hysterically she made sure to point out "no, I meant it should be called that because having it sux, not because of anything else"
I love you mom!!!

Thanks Felice! I'm taking her to the ped in the morning to confirm that it's coxsackie... but I'm pretty sure it is. Thought I saw some blisters in her mouth tonight.

I agree with your Mom the virus definetely does suck. My daughter has it right now too and it is the worst. The poor thing has not really eaten in the past two days and she barely finishes her bottles.

Yeah... DD just woke up. I have a feeling we are in for a loooooooong night.  Poor little things. Hope your DD feels better soon!
