Re: simple bottles

try Avent, they have a leak issue but if you rinse the ring under water hey wont leak (thank to the moms on here for that suggestion)

Re: simple bottles

bump

now looking for new bottles too, DS is a lot less gassy and washing pieces driving me insane. They get lost in the dishwasher, when I put them in basket they never seem to get clean.

Are avent really the best for simple bottles or are their other suggestions. I still haven't mastered the leak issue, its hit or miss for me.

I use these for DD now too. She drinks like a champ with them and they are long and thin and she enjoys trying to hold them herself

I second/third/love these

I only figured out tho you can't tighten them too tight or they leak. They get 'old' after awhile and leak anyway but are so cheap!

i had them in the smaller and larger sizes. LOVED these things!

But right now we use her FAVORITE all time bottle. Its by Gerber.. triangular in shape.. WIDE WIDE opening. wide nipple. I have no photos and I dont think I can find them online but we got them at BBB when I got tired of leaking bottles.

Once I got six of the gerber (two packs) I literally threw all the rest away.

Here ya go.. used these from about 9mo on...

Re: simple bottles

We use Born Free and love them!! They do ave a number of parts (bottle, nipple, collar, vent, and cap if you use it), but I find all very easy to clean by hand, and also very easy to run through the dishwasher. I've never lost any pieces in there, and they always come out clean even if I put them in a basket. HTH!

I use Born Free too. I had to switch from Playtex drop ins. I was tired of buying the drop ins. Tommee Tippee has that hole on the nipple where the liquid pours out if someone who doesnt know about the hole and feeding DS the bottle upside down. They are also too wide and a PITA to travel with. I love born free.

We are in the process of switching DS from Playtex Ventaire to the old fashion Gerber bottles. He did great with them. No gas issues at all...And they are so much easier to clean....

I used Think Baby with DD. I loved them, so did she. No extra pieces to clean & BPA free. I found them at BuyBuyBaby and online.
