Average Number Of Showings Per Week?

I assume it varies per town, but what would you say is a steady number of average showings per week nowadays?

Depends on the DOM (days on market) The highest amount of showings will be when the listing is new about the 1st to 6th week. Then after the 6th week you get a steady decline. I have had homes that sold in 3 weeks and a couple that sold in 4 months. I have only had 1 expired in my 4 years. This market is very tricky. You have to know all the variables to get it right.

We've been on the market 2 weeks today, and we've had 14 showings. 2 of which were second showings.

Most of that activity was last week. We had a "surprise" showing last night-- and I know the people are going to come back on Saturday, but we don't have anything else scheduled for this week.

I think things are slowing down. The last two weeks still were riding the wave of momentum from buyers in the market due to the tax credit... although maybe its temporary because mortgage rates are excellent this week.
