If you havea deep tub, how do you give your DC a bath

We stopped using the sink for our 8 month old and started bathing her in our tub.

We bought the "right height" infant tub that has the platform on it to raise her. But i still feel very awkward when bathing her.

We have a jacuzzi tub so it is deeper than a regular tub. I find it very umcomfortable and feel like I dont have the best grip on her.

I cant be the only person with this problem!!!

What does everyone else do?

DH and I just lean over and get a bad back. We thought our jacuzzi tub was awesome when we bought the house but didn't think about down the road.

I'm curious to hear if anyone else has figured out a better way

Could you get a stool so it raises you up a bit to kneel on?

Or, we had this tub for DS and it worked until he was 18 months or so.

get one of those sponge thingys for new borns... i put it on the bottom of the sink fill it up and thats what she sits on since she does just fine sitting up. when its time for her tush we stand her up and wash. thats last that way i can just pull her out when im done. we just started this because dh was having issues bathing her

I didn't put DD in the jacuzzi tub until she was around 1. She is in a bath ring (seat) now and is pretty good with sitting in it. It's still annoying though. Luckily, I'm tall.
