Pigtails [Poll]

Do you think they look silly on grown women?

(that's Marcia Cross, just using for illustration, I am wondering about all women, not just her)

It depends on the woman. I wore pigtails into my late 20's and they looked cute. I wouldn't do it now at 36 though....

I know that some women wear them and like them, but I just think they look good up until a girl is about 10. To me, after that it is just silly. However, if they make you happy then go for it.

I always see my neighbor in them and she is around 30ish. I think she looks adorable when she wears them.

I'm not a fan of grown women and pigtails in general...

BUT

I do think it can look really cute at the beach.

I wouldn't do it though

I think they can be cute in situations like Marcia is wearing them, with a cap or at the beach or doing something else active. Other than that, I wouldn't wear them

I wear them when my hair is blown out straight

get compliments all the time.

PS: Pig tails dont bother me when Im driving as a single pony tail would... Im 37yrs old.

I wear pigtails all the time! Mostly, I wear them because I like to get my hair off my face, but my hair is too short for a ponytail...it just fits in to two little pigtails.

they r great any any age, make sure your hair is long enough, thats where u can get into a fashion no no!
love them! its big on runways and especially that the warmer weather is coming. look cute in a cap at the beach, playdates, picnicing at park, riding bike. so cute!

I still do it at "my age" but only once in a while now and really depending on the outfit and/or the event.

I think it's cute but I am not sure everyone can pull it off.

When I got my tattoo between my shoulder blades, I had my hair in pigtails to keep it off my back while it healed. So many people commented on it (positively) but other than that, I only ever did it in my own house. I felt silly, but thick red hair on healing skin does NOT feel good, so I did what I had to do!

I just came across that picture of Marcia Cross and it made me remember.

I do two french braids in my hair alot in the summer, keeps my hair out of my face...

I sport them sometimes at our coed kickball games, or softball. and every now and then at the beach. I love how it looks alone, or with a hat. I do think though, its not a look for everyone.
