question about blood work- 2 yr old
what did you dc actually get tested for? Was it only lead?
I have a script to get the bloodwork done for my son and it says : CBC, lead, V20-2.
I have no idea what these things are and not sure if they are all necessary.
THe only reason i'm questionning it is because when we tried to get the bloodwork done at 1 yr, the people at quest diagnostics could not find my sons veins-said they weren't developed yet. It was absolute torture for him cuz they were digging around in his poor little arm looking for a vein and after all that didn't even get the blood :(
I want to see if all doctors require the same bloodwork.

cbc is complete blood count...not sure what the v one is
same thing happend for us at DS's 1 year blood work and they were only able to do the cbc

my Dr. office did his blood work and they took it from his finger...
they tested for everything you stated.

They did blood work at 1 year and they did a finger prick.
