First time I'm asking for prayers *Update at bottom*
So earlier this week my bff and MOH went to the hospital with a high fever. Due to her recent travels they treated her for swine flu and sent her home. She went back to the hospital two days later since her fevers were not coming down. They found out that it was actually a severe kidney infection, and the infection might have gone into her blood. They're still doing tests, but I just hope it doesn't get any worse. They told her, that had she waited another week to come in, she most likely would have died. I'm just thinking the worst right now and I need to stay positive. Hopefully tomorrow they will know for sure how long her recovery will be. So please girls, I'm asking for your prayers that she recovers quickly from this. Thank you!

definitely keeping her in my prayers!!Thank God she went in when she did! I have a tendency to stall when it comes to that kind of thing (even tho I know i shouldn't). I'm glad she's taking care of herself. Hopefully it's a quick recovery!!!

Thank you girls, I really appreciate it. I'm still waiting for an update, if the infection is in her blood. I'm praying that its not, or if it is, that the recovery isn't that bad. Thanks again

Update: I spoke to her today and she sounded a lot better than she did yesterday. They've been keeping her fever down and the infection in the blood isn't that severe. She's not sure when she'll be released but probably not for a few more days. I think they will have a better idea tomorrow, since her fever has only been down since 6:00 this morning. Hopefully it won't go back up! Thanks for all the prayers

Thank you girls so much for all of your prayers and well wishes!
I'm happy to say that my friend is doing MUCH better! The infection didn't end up going into her blood stream, so now they can concentrate on getting her kidney back to normal. She will still be in the hospital for a few more days, but the scary part is over.
Thanks again girls, it really means alot
