does anyone use Twitter?
I signed up a while ago , but never used it. I just don't get it? what is the idea?
OH and weird thing is I just got an email from them , notifying ME that our real estate agent is following my twitter? HAH???

I signed up and don't go on it much at all. I really don't get it either.
I think it's different from facebook, because you can't leave comments for people. It's just all status updates.

It seems there is no real profile. It's just updates and stuff. It has been likened to a texting pyramid becasue you can sign up to get "tweets" which I can see getting crazy if you follow more thaan a few people.

I figured out that there is a search option and people can search topics and then request you, based on what you "tweet" about.
Ex- I mentioned on mine that I was in Harvard Square for dinner, and now I have "Harvard Square" following me on Twitter.

how do you know if someone is following you? do you have to have an account to follow someone? or can i just google people and see if they have twitter?

It will tell you when you are being "followed" and there is a search option that will connect ro you email account to see whom else has it.

thats what i love about it, they update so often - i feel like they are my friends! i know what martha stewart served for her easter dinner! And i know that Opie from Opie and Anthony swam with dolphins on his vacation! LOL
