the BF showed up at the house (prob to yell at the girl for being where she was. Earlier in the episode, he said that another guy lived over there)... he hit/beat/attacked her, so the father shot him.

OMG I loved the way the show ended last night.... I cant wait for hte next episode. Its really sad that this is the last season. I was telling DH that they should do a spin off and have Morris as the main character

They didnt say it, but I also thought I saw gunshot wounds. Not sure, it was a little confusing of what happened exactly.

If you look at the girls neck when she is being carted into the ambulance, there is a red mark as if she was strangled.
