dog fighting with another dog

I have a 6 month old puppy and I take her to the dog park all the time. She has been socialized since she was 3 months old. She loves to play with other dogs but is deifnitley the dominant type and has no fear of other dogs. But she is not agressive at all.

One of her favorite things to do at the dog park is to get a toy and play keep away with the other dogs. She never has a problem, except with one dog. So far she has almost gotten in a fight with the same dog twice at the dog park when playing this game. They get along fine until they start to want the same toy. I heard that dogs owner say that her dog has gotten bitten a few times there, so I have to assume that her dog is a bit of an instigator. Not that my puppy is totally innocent in the situation, but i am wondering should i be worried about my dog or just assume that it is something with this particular dog and just avoid going when that dog is at the park?

Honestly, I wouldn't chance it. I would avoid the park when that dog is there for the safety of your dog and the other dog.

I would not give them toys when they are together.. I would stay very close to my dog as well so if something occurs you can break it up immediately.. Your dog relys on you to protect her as you are her pack leader..
