NKOTB Walmart Signing
What's the deal with this?
Anyone going and have the details?
I get out of work at 4pm tomorrow. Should I even bother going?

You have to buy the cd at Walmart in East Meadow and they are giving the first 500 to buy the cd a wristband. Then tomorrow you come back with the wristband and your receipt (as well as the cd) and you can get the signatures. The signing is at 7pm. This morning there were about 20-30 people waiting at walmart to buy the cd when it opened. Including me & my friend! :)

I didn't hear anything about them closing early for this - the store usually doesn't close until 10...I'm sure you can go and catch a glimpse or more!

There were 2 girls at the front of the line and they got there at midnight and they said the next people showed up at 4:30.

Yea I was talking to one of the girls at the front (she is on 08 LIW bride) about meeting her up there....but I didnt wake up  Im shocked

Wow I am surprised by the amt of people because the way they were talking it was going to be a mad house. I could have told my sis to sleep in and then go at 8. The only other thing I was thinking was that no one really knew about the wristbands so it might be a madhouse tomorrow. I think they changed it to that at the last minute.

I called..."SUPPOSEDLY" they arent and never were supposed to give wristbands until tomorrow....I argued with the lady but no dice. They claim those that got them this morning werent supposed to receive them and they will be given out tomorrow morning to the first 400 (its supposed to be 500) people

apparently they messed up it is supposed to be tomorrow morning but there was a typo in the press release that said sept 2nd instead of sept 3 so they stopped giving ou tthe bands after the 20 of us left they are starting it up again tomorrow morning

Oh they are very lucky there were not hundreds there then. They would have been screwed. I guess someone showed them the release and the boo boo they made. But i wonder why the low turn out I guess college and school starting up they picked the wrong day and time to make an appearance.

So now... I went today and I got no wristband??? they said to bring my receipt tomorrow??? But at 10am?? Is it even worth going at my lunch break tomorrow at 11:30 or should I show up at 7am tomorrow and see if they are giving them away again??
ETA: I just called again... 3rd time.. I got someone who spoke english and was nice SHe said they are giving them out at 7am tomorrow morning. She said people are coming in from Jersey!!! So I might get there at like 5:30ish... Craziness!

I'm gonna try to make it over just to get a glimpse. My co-worker got atatcked by bees over the weekend and is laid up at home, and our receptionist if off tomorrow so I can't take off unfortunately. Some old friends of mine from my NKOTB fanatic days went to the city over the weekend and hung out with Jordan, Jon, Danny and Joe (Donnie wasn't here yet).
