Change direction of staircase in cape!
Has anyone that has a cape style home changed the direction of the stairs going to the top floor. We technically have 2 bedrooms upstairs but there is a staircase in the middle of one of the rooms. When we have a baby we do not have a complete room and we only have one bedroom downstairs. I thought someone could give me some input!

I have a cape. But my stairscase in the middle of the two bedrooms and one bedroom downstairs. Your stairscase in the midldle one of the bedrooms?

Yes it goes from side to side instead of front to back so the staircase divides one of the bedrooms in half! You can see my problem!!
