How long did you
have to push for (first time moms) I will be due at the end of the month ...I'm really afraid to read the responses but I just want to know what I'm in store for!

One hour.
And half of that time I was kinda drugged up and couldn't make sense of what the doctor was telling me

2 hours of actually pushing. she kept sneaking back in.
eta: epi had worn off by the time it was to push. I think thats why it too so long.

25 minutes. DB had a huge head though, and I had a second degree tear. and, she still has fat cheeks.

Maybe about 15 minutes, with stopping in between each push. I only pushed a few times. The doctor was SHOCKED that I was a first time mom, b/c I was pushing so well.
ETA: I was still numb from the epidural the whole time.

Wasn't more than 1/2 hour at most.
I felt absolutely nothing, so it was kinda sucky.....got 2 epis and couldn't feel my legs at all.
had to get some "help" with an extractor and a nurse pushing my belly b/c DS was in danger.....

1 hour, 30 minutes, I think. I had an epi so it didn't really hurt but I was just so tired by the end of it. My Doc said I pushed really well (I take pride in that for some dumb reason)
