Im sure you will hear mixed responses on this subject as many seem to say no to all artificial sweetners. My doctor had no concerns with it but I avoided it in first trimester.

My doctor said no artificial sweeteners. I just use regular sugar which I prefer to splenda anyway.

I chose not to eat any artificial sweetners my entire pregnancy. I did research on it and a lot of the things I read encouraged women to stay away from it. I am sure in moderation it is fine.

Read your labels though, things like light yogurt has it in it.

What to expect says it fine because it not really an artificial sweetener. It is derived from real sugar.

My Dr. also said she is not a fan of artificial sweeteners and to stay away as much as possible!! Let's just say I miss them...
