Ebayer's...does this constitute negative feedback?

I won an auction for a lot of new baby bottles and paid the same day 09/05. So the 15th comes and I email the seller. She tells me she sent them on 09/13. Isn't that a bit long to take to ship? I just received them today 09/20! Jeez they only came from CA.

I think some negative feedback is in order. Or am I just being very crabby due to the hormones?

My dd does e-bay and only mails out on the weekend. She might have a certain day she does all her mailings so that is why it took so long.

I wouldnt do a negative but a neutral saying that you think shipping took too long and give the dates in your feedback

Nah, I wouldn't leave her negative feedback for that. Something could've come up.

as a seller, I state in my terms that everything ships within 2 days of receiving cleared payment. 10 days IMO in unacceptable! Unless the seller has some type of emergency.

I don't know what I would do in your case. you risk getting neg feedback from her too (unless she already rated you)

I'd leave neutral feedback or positive feedback, but indicate the slow shipping by only giving her 1 star when the ratings appear. I'd give her 1 star for communication too b/c it seems like you weren't informed of her shipping intentions.

I wouldn't leave negative feedback - she shipped them within ten days of payment - shipping from CA can take 7 to 10 days so the time in transit isn't unusual. She also informed you of when she shipped them.
If you want to say something in the feedback you could, but I wouldn't.

I wouldn't leave negative feedback for that. 5 business days for shipping from California isn't outrageous.

this is exactly why I tell the sellers when I am going to be able to ship once they won. And when I do ship-- I send them the tracking info so they are informed.

I don't think it constitutes negative feedback, but I would be annoyed too-- it's common courtesy to let someone know when they are going to get something that they paid for.

I agree.

I don't think it warrants a negative.

I feel it's like telling on someone...what good can come of it?

You got the clothes, she got the money, everyone is happy.

okay, thanks for the feedback regarding feedbackChat Icon Chat Icon

I gave her neutral feedback because the auction stated it would be sent when payment was received and I did paypal.

i think that fine.

I understand what you are saying....you PAID on the 5th and she didn ship until the 13th....thats too many day in between IMO....the time it took for it to get to you....7 days...isnt too long and the seller should not be responsible for that BUT the time it took her to get to the package TO the PO is her responsibility!!
