are these temps normal?
I consistently have very low temps. They are typically in the 96 range (96.5-96.8)
Is this normal?

Re: are these temps normal?
there is no "normal" - everyone is different. Its more about whats normal for you - is this your first month temping?

Everyone is different so I think its normal for you
I wouldnt worry about that as long as you can see a pattern after you ovulate.... your temp needs to be up higher after ovulation.

Re: are these temps normal?
I would say so. Mine are really low, but if you have concerns, you can always check with your OB. I spoke with my Dr about my temping during my last visit and she said that was my normal temp if that occurs on a continuous basis.

Re: are these temps normal?
Yes, I think it's normal. We all have different temps. Even my coverline has changed from cycle to cycle. This cycle it was 97.3, on the lower side for me.

Re: are these temps normal?
Thank you everyone!
This is my first month temping so I have no idea what 'normal' is....... so automatically I got concerned when I compared it to charts in TCOYF and most of the temps on those charts were at least about 97, or weren't in the 96 range consistently
I jumped to the conclusions and thought I might have a thyroid problem!

Re: are these temps normal?
dont jump to any conclusions, but i DO have a thyroid problem so it is normal for me for my temps to be under 97 when i first wake up
but also remember, your temp is lowest in the AM, especially since you are barely supposed to move while temping
