THIS IS NOT NORMAL there was a BOMB THREAT to the Jcc where my son goes to daycare
On Long Island. Nassau county. There was a ******* bomb threat to the JCC in my town where my son goes to daycare. I'm shaking. This is not normal. This is not okay.

There were several bomb threats to JCCs in the last 2 weeks. Offhand, I know it happened to the Staten Island JCC and the one in Tenafly, NJ. There were others as well.

That is really scary. Do they have any information? Do they think that it's one particular group targeting the JCCs or just random different people?
I'm hoping they don't think that it's a credible threat.

Sadly, this type of activity is unlikely to stop. Trump supporters have taken upon themselves to engage in anti-Semetic behaviior and have targeted a # of JCCs with bomb threats - they do not care about facts, they do not care that Trump could tweet tomorrow to just "stop it" - it is open season on outward acts of violence based on race & religion because his supporters think they don't have to be "politically correct" and can just act like animals because they feel Trump is ok w/ that behavior. Sorry.

Absolutely terrifying and I am so sorry this happened.
Can't say whether it's Trump related or not, but we can all see that there has been an emergence in faith/race based violence since he was elected.

OMG! I would die. I pray everyone is OK.
Unfortunately it happens at public schools too.
I can't tell you how often someone in my office is reading about a bomb threat at their local school through FB mom pages.
It's scary!! Every time I hear this I want to keep my babies home with me!!!!!!!!

She doesn't know that THIS specifically was done by Trump supporters, but there have been anti-Semitic actions taken (along with other horrible things towards other groups) in Trump's name.

You know what, no. Nope. Not today. I don't give a flying fluck about being open minded.
I went to Jewish day school for FOURTEEN YEARS. That means 8:30-4:30 every day for 14 years and NEVER once had to evacuate because of a threat. Not once.
Maybe these specific people didn't actually vote for the asshole, but his behavior and his win have made it so that this type of thing is okay now. People who were in the fringes before are emboldened now to behave in a way and to do things and say things that wouldn't have happened at this alarming rate before.
In the past week, THIRTY JEWISH AGENCIES, every single one of which had a daycare or nursery on site, received a bomb threat. THIRTY IN ONE WEEK.
That is directly related to this election and not one single person can claim otherwise.

That's all well and good. My son is 3. This is a JCC that houses daycare and nursery. And this isn't any old school - Jewish agencies are being targeted. Escalation is not out of the question.

Any threat to a child's safety is scary. Glad it turned out ok. Unfortunately this world is full of sickos. No matter who's in charge. Hug him a little tighter today.
On another note: everyone hated hearing "thanks Obama" when they stubbed their toe lol get ready to hear thanks trump for the next 4 years
