Suggestions for place and/or entertainment for a 1st birthday party??
DS will be turning 1 in August. I know it is still far away, but from what I hear places book up very fast!
Any suggestions on where I can have his party? I went to a bday party at Once Upon a Treehouse in Plainview today and it was really cute, but I have 2 more bday parties there this year so I want something different (and perhaps more geared towards babies).
I am also considering having it in my backyard at home since it will be summer time...if I do that, any suggestions for entertainment?

I think in the back yard is the best place. for entertainment are you going to have other kids? what are the ages.. you can have a slip and slid? or clown ??

i have a pretty large family so there will be a lot of kids...and all different ages...
i originally wanted to do a carnival theme in my back yard, but i just know that it is sooo much work at home. and if it is at home i will have to invite the family that dont have young children and then it just gets crazy!!!!
