So I just watched the UK version of the Victoria Beckham show...
But I am dying to know...did the US version have a disclaimer at the beginning saying that Victoria's PA was played by an actress?

Right, the UK version QUITE CLEARLY. In VERY BIG LETTERS said the role of Victoria's PA is being played by an actress, and her name was Renee Gauthier.
She is quite clearly an actress and comedian
Sorry, but the whole thing was a set up to get the public to buy into the whole Beckham thing. I thought VB was cute and had a good personality, but the whole thing reeked of PR...I enjoyed the programme, but was definitely faked. I KNOW that reality TV is faked alot, but this takes it to a different level. But I still would do David and thinkg Vix is funny and cute.

i'm sure she's been to one. she's had acne and oily skin for years. sorry...sometimes just "going" doesn't even help, not even when you're rich! look at cameron diaz! (i can relate to skin issues; it must kill this woman she can't simply zap it away.)

this makes sense b/c she didn't seem as close to V. as her make-up and hair people were. Interesting nonetheless.

You're right. Lots of these shows are staged reality. When the PA asked Victoria if she would be working with David, her response was something along the lines of, "Why? Is it that you want to work with him? Do you think he's good looking?" --VB asking for answers during the test at the DMV--all fake interactions--I think it's so cheesy

dh was like "how come her assistant is american?"
and she was lcose to the hair stylist and makeup artist, but not with the PA
