I totally understand! I feel so much more tired this time around! Have you thought about sending your older DS to prek in the fall? I have a 4 yr old DS, and my DD is turning 3 at the end of the month, while they have different days they are at school and its only a few hours, I feel like 1 kid will be easier than 2, well I hope so Chat Icon

Im about 14 weeks now and starting to get more energy on some days now, so there is light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there!!

I have 2 girls- my oldest is (just) 3 and my little one is 18 months.

I was lucky in that I didn't have any MS (aside from a bit of dry heaving while brushing my teeth). However- I did get the stomach virus that was going around and that 24hours was HORRIBLE! It was a Sunday but my (ever so NOT helpful) DH wasn't home- so my poor girls were stuck inside on pretty much the first nice day of the year watching TV and napping with me all day.

Every time I stood up I either had to go to the bathroom or throw up. Chat Icon

Thank God I didn't have MS this time around!!

The only issue I've had was EXTREME exhaustion in the 1st trimester. I'm still tired often, but not as bad.

I am in bed early every night- I may not sleep right away, but I need to lay down because I am just DONE by 8:30.

Dh has been pretty helpful with housework, but some of it has been brushed aside.

Somehow, some way- you just get through it!

My biggest issue is that my 18 month old is a bit of a challenge at times. Her tantrums + my highly hormonal and emotional state= tears for both of us. I've left many a full shopping cart in the past few weeks because she loses it and I just can't deal.

I'm hoping she chills out a bit in the next 3 months!

Feel free to FM if you ever need to vent/chat!

Good luck! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

ETA: DD1 will be going to pre-k in September, but she's supposed to start the week I'm due. I'm sure that will go over REALLY well. "Well, here's the new baby- now we're shipping you off to school!" Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm due in a few weeks the my 4th.
My kids are currently 5, 3.5 and 19 months. The 5 and 3.5 year old only go to nursery school 3 mornings a week (9:30-12PM).
I was very sick in the beginning - sucked royally, but unfortunately there is no real solution aside from prayer Chat Icon

Feel well!! Chat Icon

My kids are 11 & 5 and go to school...thank goodness I cant imagine having a toddler to run around after .. thats exhausting in itself. I give a lot of credit to you Moms with babies already. My 5 yr old only has 1/2 pre-k but is also self sufficient and independent. I was never really sick but I was very tired in beginning and 3rd tri so she wld watch tv or lay with me for an hr or so.otherwise I was running around with her doing our daily stuff.

Crashing...my twins were 18 months when I got pregnant with my 3rd. The first trimester was tough. I was home alone with them all day and DH was working long hours. Things got much much easier in the 2cnd tri. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I have a 2 year old, 11 month old and 13 weeks preggo with #3. First timester is always the hardest. Thank goodness i didn't have MS for that long this time. I got through it by putting some dancing and educational dvd's on for the kids while i lay on the couch. Now i feel better, and back to my regular routine. You get through it and it eventually gets better!
