Glucose Question for girls who went to Sunrise Med Labs

my dr gave me the paperwork to go get my 1 hour glucose done and when i called the lab (sunrise medical lab) they told me to just come in and its first come first serve.
was it like that for anyone else?was the wait super long at all?
the reason i ask is beacuse i was going to go at 7:30am during the week hoping it would be a seamless process and i wouldnt be that late to work.
has anyone gone to the seaford location?

I went to Sunrise Medical twice...once for my one hour and then for my three hour.

With my one hour, I got there at about 9:50, waited about 5 minutes, drank the drink was done by 11:00.

For my 3 hour, I got there (I think) about 9:30. Since I had to have have blood taken first...I waited until 10:05 for that, then had my drink after that. There happen to be a long wait for my second time, not my first...so it really depends on the day.

That's correct! I went to a sunrise lab in Setauket and was in and out for the 1 hour within 80 minutes.

As for the 3-hour, sunrise requires you to call ahead to make an appt at the lab you plan to visit as they don't want too many girls doing the glucose test at the same time.

I think we have the same doctor!

I didn't know there was a Seaford location. I went to the one on Deer Park Ave in Babylon. They were great there. If you're worried about time, they're open on Saturdays at 8am. I waited outside until they opened the doors and I was the first one that they helped.
