Trump told Obama on video that if he reveals all of his records, ie: passport application, college records etc. that he will donate 5 million dollars to the charity of obamas choice. The info has to be given no later than 5pm on Oct 31
Donald is a total attention whore. Blackmailing the President of the United States? REALLY? Should we encourage someone to demand Romeny finally releases more tax returns and some wealthy Democrat will donate to charity? UGH!

I honestly cannot believe that Trump's big announcement was what he intended to say. The announcement made was just stupid and made non sense, and I think Trump is smarter than that.

Trump is a jerk for what he's doing but the fact remains that Obama tries to use his charm and personality to deflect any question he doesn't want to answer, and most people fall for it. Not just about this, not about Trump but about anything. Makes me think I can't trust him. I want answers not stupid anecdotes.

I'm sure he was told to not go into details before his "people" discussed what to do about it. IMO they should ignore it and Trump should donate $5 million dollars because he CAN and not to further his stupid agenda.
ETA: FWIW, if Trump gave Romney the same offer - $5 mill for his earlier tax returns, I'd still think he was crazy, even though I think showing your tax returns (which actually is something that every President, and candidate, I believe, has done since Nixon) is more important.
