Never heard of this, I don't think that has anything to do with the size of the baby, if that was true I would have had a HUGE baby!

For me it did. I gained 60lbs and had a 9lbs 11oz baby and delivered a week early.
FYI-My weight before I got pregnant was 115.

NOT true....I ate and ate and ate...and ate tons of junk food and ice cream too and only gained 22 lbs. DD was 7 lbs 10 oz.

not true, I gained lots of weigth, ate non-stop and had 2 smaller babies (6lb7oz, and 6lb10oz). I think the more sugar you put in your body can increase your risks of diabetes and this can cause a big baby.

Don't think its true.... I eat so much while pregnant and had a 9 lb 7 oz baby and a 7 lb 11 oz one.
